AAW Live Q&A Panel - When is it? Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 6:30pm CDT. Available live at either Google Hangouts or YouTube. The recording will remain on YouTube after the session is over. You will be able to watch it at anytime via my YouTube channel.

AAW Headcanon challenge - Asexual Headcanon Week: In honor of Asexual Awareness Week, which is October 19th-25th. There is usually an AAW headcanons/fanworks challenge, and we’ll reblog the prompts for it here once they become available. (Note that this is just an Asexual headcanon week because Aromantic Awareness Week is a separate event which takes place in February.) The tag will be “#QSW Ace Week”

Linkspam as suggested by Queenie - You can approach your linkspam in any number of ways!  You could do a linkspam around a theme (example) or offer a bibliography of sources from a particular time period (example) or organize all the discussion of one particular event in one place (example).  You could do a linkspam just of your favorite pieces by your favorite blogger or trace the development of a particular term or concept.  The sky’s the limit!  As long as it’s a linkspam and it’s ace-related, (almost) anything goes.

Ace press kit project - As part of gearing up for Asexual Awareness Week, I’ve been starting to assemble a rudimentary press kit for my local ace group, Asexuality SF. As a corollary to that, I also want to create a more general Asexual Awareness Week press kit that any ace org can use – but I need your help!

‘Aces want you to know…’ - It will be a combination photoblog/anonymous confession blog, where ace people can reveal what they want people to know about being ace. Take a template image (or create your own), fill in the blank, and submit it here.  Or print it out, fill in the blank, take a photo with it, and submit it here.Your submissions will be posted during Asexual Awareness Week, starting on October 19th, but you may submit at any time.

Asexuality website contest - There are only a handful of dedicated ace websites out there.  There are plenty of spaces that haven’t been filled yet.  I know many of you have ideas, but just don’t have the money to get things off the ground.

That’s where I come in.  I have the money and I want to give some of it to you.

Asexual portraits collab video - I want to get short video portraits showing asexual-spectrum people posing and expressing themselves how they see fit and then take a memorable quote from them (about their asexuality or their experiences with it in life) and display it over their portrait. The end result is that all of these short video clips of people will be combined into one large video, which will be hosted on the Portraits Collaboration Youtube channel.

Asexual Awareness Week Fandom Challenge - I encourage people to respond to these prompts in all types of formats. Write meta, draw fanart, write fanfic, make playlists, post quotes, make aesthetic edits and GIFS, etc. Have fun with it!

trisarahtopsasaurus’ call for submissions - There’s one video in particular that I’m hoping to collaborate on with other aces. This project is a selfie/picture project that will include people’s submissions about what it means to be asexual. This could be how you personally understand and define asexuality and/or what it has meant to you to have found the label asexual (or demi/gray).
